RAW FOOD DAY 1

Here are a few delicious recipe I made today.

First the tasty-est fresh vegetable and fruit juice....

CARROT APPLE BEET GINGER JUICE

(inspired by Julie Fader)

1 Large Carrot washed
1 Beet washed
1/2 an Apple washed
A Healthy Slice of Fresh Ginger!

Put all ingredients though your juicer, mix it up and drink!
Sooo Good

Sprits it up by adding a splash of Perrier
make it sweeter by using the whole apple.


SUN-DRIED MARRINARA SAUCE

(Also works as KETCHUP!)

1 Rip Tomato
1/2 a Cup of Soaked Sun Dried Tomatoes
3 Soaked Dates
Banana Peppers to Taste
Pinch of Sea Salt
Fresh Sprigs of Parsley
1 Clove of Garlic
A Splash of Apple Cider Vinegar

Combine ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

I will be posting a Lasagna Dish that uses this sauce in tomorrow!




FROZEN CHOCOLATE COCONUT BALLS
Beware these are addictive!

1/2 cup of Dates (Soaked Overnight)
1/2 Cup of Unsweetened Coconut (Soaked Overnight)
A Heaping Spoon of Almond Butter
A Heaping Spoon of Raw Chocolate or Carob Powder

Combine these 3 things in your food processor until smooth.
put in a bowl or pan in the freezer untill firm.
Spoon out scopes of mix, and roll into a ball on dried flakes of Coconut.
Swift Carob or Raw Chocolate powder overtop of balls.
Freeze.
Keep in freezer until served.




These make a great frozen chocolate treat... It's almost like Ice Cream!
